Rural Life Photography
My grandparents spent their working lives on farms at the foot of the South Downs. Alongside their heavy horses they managed the estates and were country folk at heart; this way of life has carried on through the family.
I can think of nothing better than spending the day outside in the countryside. From the first day I picked up my camera I was out photographing nature, wildlife and rural ways.
This gallery of 55 photos shows a glimpse into the last ten years I have spent in the Sussex rural world with my camera. From taking sunset photos at harvest time, to following the local Foxhound and Bloodhound packs, to photographing the wildlife and pheasant shoots, to our own pekin bantams and dairy cows crossing the road for milking in Fletching.
Some of these photos are available as greeting cards for £2 each and all are available as mounted 12 by 8 inch prints & mounted 16 by 12 inch prints for £30 and £42 each respectably. I also welcome commissions.
“We had the pleasure of Craig photographing a couple of our shoot days. We were so impressed in the way that he captured the characters, the shooting action and the dogs on the shoot in such vibrant colours, that we commissioned Craig to produce a book for us as well as a collage which was framed and presented to our shoot Captain as an end of season gift. Thank you for capturing treasured memories so well Craig!”
Please contact me if you wish to purchase greeting cards or mounted prints, or would like to discuss a commission for a rural scene, attending a pheasant shoot or a special documentation.
