Pekin Bantams
Here are a selection of photographs of pekin bantams which were taken in my garden. Every year a number of our hens go broody so we put some fertile eggs under the birds and have several groups of chicks running around the garden! The majority of these chicks go on to be sold to the public.
As well as taking photos in the garden I also set up a small studio and take portraits of the chicks. Every day for 21 days I photographed one chick, named Helen the hen, as she hatched from her egg to when she was well developed.
